Dear Daddy,
It was ANOTHER cloudy cold day here today. I did get to go outside and play some though. Mommy and I slept in til 9am today because I didn't go to sleep until 11:30pm last night like Mommy said in the last blog.
After breakfast, Mommy and I got dressed and went to Walmart to get the last couple of things we needed to finish off your care package. We are going to mail that out tomorrow. After Walmart we ate lunch and then I took a nap.
I surprised Mommy and took longer than an hour and a half nap. She doesn't know how long I would have slept though because she had to wake me up so we could go get my carseat checked. The lady who checked it said it was just perfect and she even showed Mommy how to do it all by herself. I think Mommy was underestimating herself because she did it perfect the first time!
When we got home, Grandpa was barbecuing steaks. I had a hot dog instead though because I don't like steak. Mommy let me have a few m&ms for dessert.
Mommy thought I was going to give her a hard time again tonight for bed because I kept coming out and laughing and being crazy. Mommy was not happy because she wanted to watch the season finale of The Hills and the MTV movie awards tonight so she stayed in the room with me for 10 minutes until I fell asleep.
Mommy is hoping this wanting to play all night does not last for too long and I go back to going to bed quickly like a good boy.

Day 60
Dear Daddy,
Today was another gloomy rainy day. It didn't rain a lot, just sprinkled almost all day. So we played inside for most of the day. Mommy and I didn't get up til 9am. I let Mommy sleep in today and she was so happy about it! Then we got up and fed the dogs and ate breakfast. After that I played with Grandma while Mommy took a shower and got ready for the day. Grandma and I watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Handy Manny while we played with my cars.
After Mommy was ready we went outside for a couple of minutes to see Grandpa because he was working on the boat. He had the easy up over it so it wouldn't get wet because he was laying down the fiberglass. Then when I told Mommy it was cold outside so she knew it was time to go inside. For lunch I ate pizza. It was delicious. I ate all of my pizza.
Then I took a nap and Mommy watched a movie with Grandma. After my nap it had stopped misting out so Mommy, Aunt Krista, Kevin and I took Lana and Grandma's dogs to the dog park. They had lots of fun and so did I. I ran around all over with the dogs because there was nobody but us in there.
After that we came home and Mommy went and got us Submarina for dinner. I had my own 3 inch sandwich and some chips and a chocolate milk. Mommy had a wrap and she said it was very very good!
I gave Mommy a very hard time last night going to bed. I kept playing a game and running out in the living room every 5 min laughing hysterically at Mommy. I thought it was funny, but Mommy didn't. I didn't go to bed til 11:30! 11:30 Daddy-that is so late! Then Mommy couldn't sleep because right before I went to bed Grandpa showed her a huge huge black widow spider outside. It was the size of a half dollar. Mommy should have gotten a picture, but she was so freaked out. You know how she is about spiders especially black widows!
Well thats all that happened today Daddy. I love you and miss you so much. Mommy sends her love!

Day 59
Dear Daddy,
Today I woke up and had pooped and when Mommy went to change my diaper she realized that I must had gone to the bathroom a while before I woke up because I had a nasty nasty rash. Mommy has been lathering me up with triple paste today hoping the rash will be all gone by tomorrow. After we got up we went to eat breakfast. I had a blueberry waffle and Mommy had some oatmeal. I ended up eating half of Mommy's oatmeal along with all of my blueberry waffle.
After breakfast we got ready and then played inside today instead of outside. It has been cold and windy and gloomy all day today so we didn't go outside. Before Mommy knew it, it was lunch time. I have had such a good appetite lately and Mommy has been so happy that I haven't been wasting all of my food. Here are a couple of pictures of me eating lunch. I won't eat my apple anymore unless its a whole one.
Here is a picture of Lana playing with Mickey and a couple of Lana posing for the camera. They played for about 30 minutes and ran around the living room. I thought it was so funny. I laughed and laughed and laughed the whole time!
After that I took a nap and slept for a whole hour and a half. Mommy was so happy about this because she was able to work out for 30 minutes and then was able to relax for a while after that. When i woke up I played hide and seek with Aunt Krista so Mommy could take Lana for her walk. She was going to attempt to take me this time, but it was misting and cold out so she decided to leave me at home where it was warm.

For dinner Mommy got me a happy meal from McDonalds because I had been so good all day even with that nasty diaper rash. I even got some chocolate milk with my chicken nuggets and apple dippers. It was so good! I drank it all and wanted more. Then after that Mommy talked to you online for a while and then we went outside and sat by the firepit with Papa and Grandma and Aunt Krista. I loved sitting on Mommys lap and watching the fire. It was so nice and warm in the cold weather we have been having.
Now I'm in my bed playing and refusing to go to sleep. Mommy is hoping that I go to bed soon and stop giving her a hard time tonight.

Day 58
Dear Daddy,
Today was really a boring day. I woke Mommy up at 730 today. She isn't liking how early I am getting up lately. Mommy is not a morning person, but you already know that. When we got up we got breakfast. Mommy got a yogurt for herself and I decided I wanted one too. Then when I got in my chair I decided I wanted both yogurts and threw a fit when Mommy tried to eat one of them. When Mommy took one I threw the other one on the ground and made a big mess. Mommy was not happy with me. She had to get me some grapes and a waffle instead since I wasted a whole yogurt.
After breakfast we got ready for the day. We were going to go to the grocery store, but you got online so we stayed home and talked to you instead. Mommy would much rather talk to you than go to the grocery store. We miss you Daddy. I kept saying your name all day. Everytime I see your pictures around the house I kiss you in them.
After lunch I took a good 1 1/2 hour nap for Mommy so she could work out and get some time to get things done. Then after my nap and after Grandma got home Mommy went to the store. She got me some crackers because she knows how much I love them. She also got me some more grapes because I can't get enough of them.
It was cold and cloudy and windy here all day so we didn't go outside too much. We mainly played inside. After Mommy got home from the store and while we waited for dinner to cook, we watched Cars with Papa and Grandma. Then we had some chicken and mac & cheese for dinner. It was yummy! After dinner we played and then I took a bath and went to bed. I was so good and didn't cry at all tonight and went straight to bed. I love you and miss you Daddy.

Day 57
Dear Daddy,
Today was a fun day. We woke up early so we could get ready for Gymboree. Then you got online and we skype chatted and you watched me eat breakfast. Then after that we got dressed and went to Gymboree. I had a good time at Gymboree, except that one kid keeps being mean to me and everyone else in the class. He is always getting told no by the teacher for being so mean. But other than that I had fun. Then Miss Briana told us she wouldn't be teaching the level 4 class on Wednesdays anymore. :( Mommy is sad too because she loves her as my teacher. Mommy and me think we are going to switch to a different day so we can still be with Miss Briana.
After Gymboree, Mommy and I went to Submarina for lunch. It was very very yummy. We shared a turkey wrap. It was so good! I was such a good boy while we were there. After that we went home to get ready for a nap.
While I napped Mommy worked out and then when I woke up we cuddled and watched Blues Clues. I'm never in a good mood after my naps anymore since I only sleep for 45 min-1 hour. Cuddling with Mommy and watching Blues Clues always helps me to get in a better mood.
When Grandpa got home, he played outside with me while Mommy took Lana on a walk. Mommy said Lana was a pain and did not want to walk and she was scared of all the cars. After she got home with Lana, she took me on a walk too. She can't handle pushing the stroller and walking Lana all at once. She tried and got very frustrated becaues Lana didn't want to walk well.
Then we came home and Mommy made me some dinner. I had some popcorn chicken and some pasta. It was very very good! I have such a good appetite lately. I must be growing :)
Mommy said she is sorry she didn't take pictures today. Some days she just forgets to bring out the camera.

Day 56
Dear Daddy,
How are you? Today was another boring day. Mommy had lots of laundry to do, so we didn't make any other plans. I woke Mommy up at 6:45 today. She was sooo sleepy that I let her lay in bed and snooze til 7:30 while I watched Disney and cuddled with her. After that we got up and ate breakfast. Mommy made us scrambled eggs and they were very yummy.
After that we got ready and started the laundry. Then Mommy made us lunch and then we played until nap time.
After nap time Mommy was talking to you online and then after that we went and played outside. Then we ate dinner and then it was bath and bedtime.

Day 55
Dear Daddy,
How are you? We are doing good. We miss you. Today was pretty boring. We didn't do much. We woke up at 7:30 today. Mommy could have slept later though. She was really tired because she didn't sleep much last night. We got up and ate breakfast and then played with my puzzles for a while. After that Mommy took a shower and then we got dressed and went outside to play until lunch time. I ate like a big boy today. For breakfast I had half of a yogurt, some crackers, half a cereal bar and some grapes! I was hungry. Then for lunch I ate a corndog and some grapes and some cheese. Mommy says I must be growing. :)
After lunch I took a nap. I only slept for 30 minutes though. Mommy was not too happy because she wanted to take a nap, but since I wouldn't go back to sleep we got up. Mommy went and got us some smoothies from Jamba Juice. I had my very own again and I was so good and didn't pull the straw out at all. After we drank our smoothies we went outside again. Mommy finally took some pictures of me in my new car.
Then Mommy and I went on a walk and then came home and ate dinner. We had Chicken Noodle Casserole. It was very yummy. I ate all of it and a biscuit and some corn. I had a very big appetite today!
That was about it for today Daddy. I can't wait for your internet to start working again Daddy. I miss talking to you on Skype. I Love You and Miss You so much. XOXOXOXO. Mommy sends her love too.

Day 54
Dear Daddy,
Today we went to the San Diego Zoo with Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Krista. It was fun, but not as fun as last time when you went with us. I wish you were here to go with us today. I wanted to ride on your shoulders to see all of the animals. Here is a picture of me in my new Cars hat that Mommy bought me to wear today.
We got to see lots of animals today. My favorite were the monkeys. Mommy got me a monkey stuffed animal that I am sleeping with right now and a shirt that says "I'm a little monkey" with a picture of a monkey on it. Grandma and Grandpa got me a book about monkeys and a shirt that says "I'm a little peanut" with an elephant on it. I had a lot of fun. I loved eating some of Grandpa's fries at lunch.
After lunch we were walking to the reptile house and saw a guy who does caricature pictures. Here is how mine came out:
After that we went and saw the elephants at the new elephant enclosure and the rest of the animals we hadn't seen yet. I got pretty sleepy and finally conked out. Here is me sleeping in the stroller and some pictures from the rest of the day.

Day 53
Dear Daddy,
Today I woke up at 8:00 and then Mommy and I got out of bed and ate breakfast. I had some yogurt and Mommy had oatmeal. After breakfast, we got ready for the day. Then I stayed with Grandma while Mommy went to the post office to mail your care package. Last time Mommy tried to take me to the post office with her I was not happy with waiting in the long line, so thats why Mommy left me with Grandma today. :) After Mommy went to the post office, she ran to Walmart to get some laundry soap and batteries and she got me a Lightning McQueen hat to wear at the Zoo tomorrow.
When she got home, Mommy fed me lunch and then I took a nap. After my nap, Mommy and I went to the mall. First on the way to the mall we drove Mommy's car through the drive-thru car wash. I liked most of it until the loud air dryer came on. Then I got scared and cried until we were out of the car wash. Once we got to the mall, we walked around some and browsed and then Mommy got herself a shirt and she got me a pair of sandals. I love my new shoes! Mommy didn't get any pictures of them yet because the camera was charging so it would be all charged for the Zoo. After we shopped Mommy and me got some chinese food in the food court. It was yummy! I loved the rice and the orange chicken. I even licked the plate clean. (Sorry again that Mommy didn't have a picture of this either since the camera was at home charging.)
When we got home from the mall, Grandpa took me outside to play until bath time. I gave Mommy a really hard time at bedtime tonight. I kept coming out of the room running and as soon as I would get to where Mommy was in the living room I would start crying. I did this every 5 minutes for an hour. Mommy said I was being a bad boy. Really I am just so excited about the Zoo that I didn't want to sleep! Luckily I finally fell asleep and soon after that you called and Mommy was able to talk to you. She sure was happy about that.

Day 52
Dear Daddy,
Today was a busy day. We started it off by waking up and eating some oatmeal for breakfast. After that Mommy ordered my new diapers and then we got ready for the day. After that Grandma watched me while Mommy went to the bank and grocery shopping. I had a blast with Grandma! She gave me pizza for lunch. It was very very yummy. When Mommy got home we played for a little bit and then she put me down for a nap.
Little did I know that after I fell asleep Mommy went back to the store to get me a surprise. When I woke up Grandpa and Mommy were putting my surprise together for me.
Mommy said she will get pictures of me in it tomorrow. She didn't have time today because when Grandpa was done putting it together and I was able to play with it, Mommy had to go inside to pay the bills. So I played in my car outside with Grandpa for a while. I love my new car! Its so much fun.
When Aunt Krista got home, Mommy, Aunt Krista, and I went to Souplantation for dinner. It was very good. I ate lots and lots of pickles and some pasta and salad. Mommy was so nice and let me have an ice cream cone after I ate my dinner.
When we got home from dinner it was time for bath and then bed. I gave Mommy a fight at bedtime tonight and cried for a while. I eventually fell asleep and hopefully will sleep well again tonight.
I am so excited for Sunday because we are going to the zoo to see all of the animals. I wish you were here to go with us Daddy. I miss you and I love you very very much.

Today was a busy day. We started it off by waking up and eating some oatmeal for breakfast. After that Mommy ordered my new diapers and then we got ready for the day. Day 51
Dear Daddy,
I miss you. Today was a good day. Mommy and I slept in til 8:30am. Mommy was very happy about this. When we woke up we ate breakfast and then you got online and we talked to you for a few minutes. Then we got dressed and played for a while until lunch time. I had grilled cheese and applesauce for lunch. It was very good. I ate all of my lunch-Mommy was very proud of me.
After lunch I took a nap. I only slept for 30 minutes though before the dogs started barking at nothing and woke me up :( I was not a happy camper since I got woken up from my nap so Mommy and I laid and watched tv on the couch for a while after that.
Then Grandma came home from work and Mommy went to get us a smoothie from Jamba Juice. Mommy was so nice and got me my own smoothie!! It was very good. I even shared some of mine with Mommy. After we finished our smoothies, Mommy and I went on a 2 hour walk! Mommy pushed me in my car and I had a great time. We went to the park for a while and then around the dog park. We stopped to watch the doggies for a while too. Mommy and I are going to start walking more. Its nice to get out in the fresh air.
Then we got home and it was time for dinner. Grandma had ordered Papa Johns pizza. I LOVE pizza Daddy. I ate a whole slice all by myself. It was so yummy! Then after dinner I played outside with Grandpa while Mommy talked to you online.
Then I took a bath and went to bed. Nothing too exciting today. We miss you and love you so much Daddy. I think about you always.

Day 50
Dear Daddy,
I hope you are doing good. I miss you so much Daddy. Every time I see your picture I say your name over and over and over.
I woke Mommy up at 7:30 and she wasn't too happy about this. She couldn't fall asleep until 130 so she was very tired. But we got up anyways because we had to be at Gymboree at 11 today. We switched our class to Wednesdays instead of Sundays. Mommy and I are going to start a new weekly thing next week after Gymboree class. We are going to go to lunch together just the two of us every Wednesday after class. It's going to be so much fun Daddy!
Mommy didn't take any pictures today. She forgot. Her memory isn't what it used to be.
After Gymboree we came home and ate lunch. After lunch I threw a BIG temper tantrum because Mommy wouldn't let me have the rest of my M&M's from yesterday. Mommy decided it was naptime so she laid me down for a nap. She was hoping I would take a long nap today since I didn't yesterday, but I only slept for 45 minutes again. I was so cranky when I woke up. Mommy said "Oh not again Alex, why are you so unhappy again?" I secretly laughed inside. Sometimse I get cranky on purpose so that I get extra extra attention..but shhhhh don't tell Mommy!
After I got over my crankiness Grandma came home with a new area rug for the living room and I helped Grandpa lay it down on the carpet. I am such a good helper. Then we ate dinner. Grandpa was teaching me silly things at dinner. He was listening to baseball on his tv while we ate so he taught me how to say "Out!!"
After dinner I played with Grandpa and Grandma outside while Mommy talked to you online. I was a good boy for the most part they said.
I gave Mommy a little trouble at bedtime because I started to throw a fit when she told me to get in bed. But then she gave me a hug and kiss and everything was better. Now I'm in bed playing because I'm not gonna go right to bed for Mommy again tonight. I like making her go crazy! :)

Day 49
Dear Daddy,
Today was a fun day! I didn't let Mommy sleep in today like I have the past few days. I think she was getting used to sleeping in so I had to shake things up a bit. :) After we laid in you and Mommy's bed and watched the Disney channel and cuddled we got out of bed to feed the dogs and eat breakfast. Mommy gave me some yogurt because she knows I love it so much!
Then after that we got ready and went and visited Grandma at work. All of the people at Grandma's work think I am SOOOO cute and just wanted to hug and hold me. I only let Grandma's old boss give me a hug though because I remembered her. She also gave me $10 for my piggy bank. She must think I'm very cute! :)
After Grandma's work, Mommy and me came home and ate lunch and then played with my puzzles and blocks until nap time. Mommy asked me to take a good nap today so she could work out and then relax for a bit and watch a movie. Little did she know I had a surprise for her and only slept for 45 minutes! I just love being awake and am so afraid I am going to miss something that I don't want to sleep for too long. I was a little cranky though when I woke up so Mommy and I cuddled on the couch and watched Blue's Clues for a while.
Then I went in my little pool and Grandma sat outside and watched me while Mommy went to get me some milk at the store. Mommy also got me a treat...some M&M's...my favorite!! And guess what Daddy--I said "yellow" today for the first time! Mommy and Grandma and Aunt Krista think it is sooo cute how I say it too- "lellow". I say it over and over just because I like to hear how excited they all get.
After playing in the pool we came inside and played with my cars and read some books until dinner time. Grandpa brought me home a special new toy that I love so much. It is a mini toy golf set. It is so cool Daddy! I played with it all night and I'm sleeping with two of the little golf balls right now. I even took them in the bath with me. I miss having you to give me a bath Daddy..you always let me splash more than Mommy does. :oD
I have been doing so good without my bottle Daddy. You would be so proud of me. I drank all my milk from my cup tonight. I didn't do so well with going to bed right away. It took me 1 1/2 hours of playing in my bed and Mommy checking on me and telling me to lay down and go to sleep about 10 times before I went to bed. I like keeping Mommy on her toes...its good for her! :)
